wonder why i'm blogging like so many days later?
cause my computer is hopeless people, hopeLESS!! :(
anws, let me start with a random question after watching the show ytd..
which show so u think it's nicer, SUPERMAN or SPIDERMAN? (:
hahahs.
my answer's the first!
the latter, i think it's not that sweet, hehe!
okay. i wanna go back to the mission trip.
first i need to summarise the experience:
1) fun
2) fulfilling
3) [most importantly] it's being God-led *and i'm confidently saying this!! :D
lessons learnt there:
1) prayer is very important; seek Him first in all things.
2) prayer should be a part of our lives.
3) "ask and it shall be given" if it's in accordance to His will.
4) God will lead and guide in every way, do not worry about tmr, for tmr has its worries. :D
3rd.
YF kindly prepared dinner for us to send us of.
then boarded the bus to ayer tawar.
was very scared, uncertain of what we'll face there, and sent out prayer requests to a few people..
then went through the checkpoints..
and we reached ayer tawar on the 4th an hour earlier than expected(:
4th.
unpacked our things in the church library(our girls bulk) and rested till 10 i think.
had prayer walk.
bao lian jie and liu bo bo shared many amazing faith stories/ testimonies throughout the walk..
was very touched by their faith.
5th.
home evangelism.
was grouped with david, chuan dao, an auntie, and later shi wu.
didnt get to share the good news but experienced their hospitality..
very touched by how chuan dao and the others genuinely show God's love to the villagers we visited.
sat on the motorbike on the first time, scary.
joined their prayer meeting at 7.30pm..
prayer is really powerful!
i rmb crying like mad tat night..
6th.
youth outreach- the thing i was in charged off.
being the last to join the team makes me very unsure of many things, despite going through the minutes of meeting many times..
however i give thanks that God led the youth outreach and everything went well.
we were blessed with good weather and also safety of all participants(:
being station masters with weifeng for the spider web was fun, though muddy, hahahs.
the da jue sai was cool.
the tower game was woohoo!
they have BB there too, and the cadets were really good at the knots!
however, the youths there were bad at cheers.. hahas.
one went something like: "funny bunny funny bunny cute cute cute!"
and they were shaking their butts, so interesting hor? (:
anw, toured one side of kampong jering with jolene after the youth outreach and realised that place is not very big afterall..
had jie mei hui going on concurrently but didnt really know what happened..
knew afterthat that it was great!! (:
then had evangelistic rally.
not many people came at first, but in the end had more..
everyone put in their effort, really.
was really touched during the song yao qing ye su.
projection was as a whole good(: [i was the projectionist]
7th.
we were put in charged of sunday school, service..
sunday school, the kids are really enthu.
but much younger than we expected..
had a fun time with them, especially the puzzle, i felt.
service we "performed" ni wo ta during offering time..
it was okay la, but i forgot the lyrics, super duper nervous!!
hehe.
8th.
children's camp.
was assistant leader for xi le zu with wei jie..
had worship! (:
then wrecked my brain for a group cheer..
in the end thought of "we will we will rock you",
but they couldnt understand "rock you"
hence i changed to "wo you wo you xi le"
hahahs. creative lehs!
anw. the group members wasnt shouting, only the two leaders were super ping ming!
then had two indoor games, i thought they were super fun!
then had lunch and worship 2!
then i was treasure hunt!
it rained halfway:(
but God led us through it(:
jolene and team successfully rearranged the game in the church! :D
then had the message, wu zi shu and refreshments and children's camp big group photo!!
and lastly, minimart.
the kids were super enthu. SUPER ENTHU.
hahahs. even the little little things made them so happy.
quoting from wei xiang: "life's simple pleasures." seriously.
9th.
the free day!
liu bo bo and the rest took us out.
went to see the sea turtles..
went to see the super rowdy monkeys who will even snatch your mineral water bottle in hand..
went to see how the moniter lizards and snakes were skinned..
and learnt now to ride motorbike.
DA KAI YAN JIE.

hahahahs! (:
10th.
